1st on the List implemented a complete website redesign for Mid Valley Manufacturing Inc., a global leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing cattle confinement products and cattle handling equipment. Located in Abbotsford, BC, Canada, Mid Valley has over 30 years of experience in the industry and needed a clear manufacturing website design that better showcased their expertise and skills plus new product lines.
Project Background Information
Mid Valley first came to 1st on the List in 2015 with a newly designed website that was missing a number of critical SEO components that prevented them from being found in the Search Engines. The messaging for visitors and potential clients was also unclear with products, services, and descriptions either missing or inadequate. The manufacturing website just wasn’t complete or functioning as it should.
Our web designer selected a mobile friendly WordPress theme that would work best with SEO in the future. A big emphasis was placed on displaying all of their cattle handling products and services so that visitors and potential customers will recognize Mid Valley as an all-in-one solution to designing, installing, and maintaining barn equipment and cattle handling equipment.
Within the first couple months of launching the new manufacturing website design and with our SEO team continually working on the site, we saw over 350% increase in Google search impressions. Mid Valley has since been getting top rankings for their specific products and services. The website clearly showcases everything required to help generate new business through phone calls and website contact form completions.

Along with new photos, more detailed product descriptions of the cattle handling equipment, and better calls-to-action, Mid Valley Manufacturing’s final website design also includes a new line of manure handling equipment by Valmetal. These new product lines include chain and hydraulic manure scrapers, manure separation equipment, manure pumps, plus wheel mixer wagons and manure spreaders.
As a dairy farm equipment supplier, Mid Valley Manufacturing custom designs, manufactures, and installs cattle handling equipment and has worked with clients across Canada, the United States, and internationally.
